Mental Health Champions

Sale Price:£297.00 Original Price:£497.00

Our Mental Health Champions programme is designed to equip employees to work across the organisation to build support for health and wellbeing initiatives. Inspire and motivate staff to prioritise their own health and wellbeing. As well as promoting good mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. A typical work-related scenario will be examined and participants will learn how to support colleagues remotely and at work. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to identify and support team members who may be experiencing mental ill-health. This includes depression, anxiety and stress.

Participants will be able to provide effective, early intervention and signpost support sources their colleagues can benefit from. This programme provides the right foundations to help create a more engaged, happy, and high-performing culture.

The programme lasts for four days, 2.5 h each day. It is suitable for team leaders, managers, HR professionals and anyone with an interest in mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. The programme is facilitated by experienced and qualified mental health professionals. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

The programme provides the right knowledge and skills to support the wellbeing of employees and create a more positive work culture. It also encourages the development of new practices, behaviours and attitudes to create a more meaningful and productive workplace. Participants will gain a better understanding of how to identify, address and manage mental health issues in the workplace. They will also develop the ability to apply the skills learnt to their own professional environment. Finally, the programme will allow participants to foster a stronger sense of connectedness and collaboration with their peers.

This workshop aims to:

  • Create an awareness and understanding of mental health, with a focus on common mental health problems (depression, anxiety and stress)

  • Clarify the risk factors for mental ill-health and how to promote mental resilience.

  • Explore mental health as a right and not a luxury – it is okay not to be okay

  • Equip participants to our I.D.E.A.L.S. framework for how best to approach and support others

  • Give specific tools and techniques on how to respond safely and where to signpost someone to access the right support as per your duty of care.

  • Explore what you can and cannot do, looking at boundaries and equipping you with hands-on tools on how to deal with challenging situations and achieve safe and positive outcomes
