It has a research grade temperature sensor giving fast, accurate readings (temperature updates every 2 seconds, accurate to plus/minus 1.8 degrees F).

The monitor uses electronic quartz accuracy to display body/room temperature in either F or C. The unit is approx 7cm long, 5.3cm high and 1.5cm wide and fits easily into a shirt pocket or purse.
