Homeopath Ann Callaghan came up with the idea for Combinations for Kids essences after years of listening to children telling her about the things that bother them. She says "One of the biggest problems for children is not being listened to and understood. A lot of us adults are very bad communicators and don't know how to really listen to children which in turn leads to the children resorting to more extreme behaviours to try and get their point across. Listening to your child is key to growing together harmoniously as a family. If you are listening and still having problems then working with these essences should help. So we came up with a list of 12 things that bother most people at least some of the time. HOW TO USE ESSENCES Suppose your child is acting out a lot and nothing you've done so far is working. This is a good time to use essences.

FIRST Get your essences - either choose them from this site or go along to a shop that stocks them. You'll find a list of shops that sell the essences in the Bulletin Board section of this website. People who are new to essences often buy just one or two bottles. Others buy a boxed set so that they have more to choose from. You can buy the essences in drop form or in spray form. The drops can be added to glasses of water and juice, to the bath, to creams etc. The spray form is great for spraying around your child's room. It acts like an energetic air conditioner and brings the energy of whichever spray you're using right into your child's environment

NEXT Choose a quiet time to sit down with your child and explain that you both have a problem and you'd like to find a way to solve it.

THEN Ask your child if they would like to choose an essence for themselves. Then you choose one for yourself too ! It is important that the adult is part of the healing process.

AND THEN Either put drops of the essence you've choosen in large glasses of water and sip or spray the essences around the room where you are. The mineral essences in Combinations for Kids will help to balance your energy helping you both to let go of old patterns.
